I have a Monster 695. Is it possible to change the low exhaust pipes to higher under the seat, either over/under or side by side like the 696?

2 days before my father passed away, his friend read him a bit of wisdom she had found on the cap of an iced tea bottle... For some reason he felt compelled to write the quote down on his computer, print it out in big bold letters and hang it up in the kitchen of the house we were all staying at... After his passing, the seemingly dull cliche took on a whole new meaning... What it said was this;
"Things turn out best for the people who make the best of the way things turn out..."
Over the last…

Hello all.
Long time Sport Bike rider has finally taken the plunge and purchased a Ducati. I live in North Vancouver B.C. and am having a blast on it. I'm looking to meet fellow Ducati Riders and share information about bikes, bike riding and local roads worth riding. I like technical twisty roads that challenge and am always looking for roads I haven't been on yet.
Best, Jeff B

have 2000 miles on my HM1100.
first, i have owned Ducatis for 15 years.
second, this may be the best production bike Ducati has ever built.
third, it will take time for people to realize what Ducati has done here, partly cause it redefines how to ride fast.
simply an amazing machine. add the 2to1 full race exhaust and it just wants to jump out of your hands. you can go just as fast on the MH1100 as you can on any sport bike on public roads under 100mph and be twice as…

Hey, so I stumbled across this "ning" and it is great!!! Anyway, I live in San Francisco Bay Area and own a '95 916. Recently I had some shifting problems so I pulled the left hand crank case cover off and replaced the gear shifting mechanism. While I was there I also changed out the stock flywheel for a Nichols flywheel.
Anyway, it seems like there is a lot of good information here to learn from each other. When I get a chance I will post some pictures and details of the maintenance I…

June 26th I loaded up the ST3s and took off for Big Bend National Park. Round trip was about 1200 miles. Everything went really well. Loved riding the bike, it is a dream going down the highway. Did some backpacking while there. My first time to backpack instead of day hiking. I actually enjoyed it. Saw a bear milling around the area and that was unsettling, but no problems.
Unlike years past, the temperature has been down for us in Texas this year. low 90s are so much more comfortable than…

Halfway through the 2007 ATV racing season, Justin Waters is hitting his stride – and it's apparently a fast one. The defending 2006 WORCS ProAm champion had set a goal of three championships for this year - Production A, Open A and ProAm - an accomplishment unprecedented in WORCS ATV competition. At Round 5 held May 11-12 in Los Olivos CA, hard work, changes to the bike set up and perseverance finally came together. It was three starts, three wins.
"All year long I've had the

well from thirty feet it looked harmless but at 50 mph it got close quick, when it ran in my general dy-rection I swear it was thirty lb's or more . never had a rodent charge at me on my motorcycle... sorry the outcome was good we avoided colision and only had small chunck of seat missing form the seat which was found later when me cheeeck's relaxed.

Hello Riders,
If you are interested in seeing some of the sights of this year's 2007 Motogiro d'Italia put to sound and video, below is a link to a production I've created from my images. It is a fairly long 16 minutes and it plays in mostly chronological order of the 5 legs.
This year was the 50th anniversary of the last original Motogiro d'Italia public road race. That year's race was won by Remo Venturi, who is a regular at the revival eve

Unfortunately tragedy has befallen my relatively new Monster S2R1000.
Ok that bad... at least it is a warranty issue.
Shift rod has frozen solid - stuck in 3rd gear. Linkage is fine,
it's something in the drum. So it's at Mototek right now. A
couple weeks they say. That's the shitty part. Whenever
something happens with the duc, it's always weeks.

DUCATI'S 1098 Tricolore has now sold out - 110 were imported into the country.
For 2007 only, the 1098S was produced in an additional special 'Tricolore' version (red, white and green, the colours of the Italian national flag). The Ducati 'Tricolore' tradition began in 1985 with the stunning 750 F1 and then continued with the limited edition 851.

Check out this note from Steve Sergi, at BMW of Manhattan. Steve commutes to work on his R1150GS every day.
Steve Sergi here from BMW of Manhattan with a warning:
The NYPD are being told by their superiors to be ultra aggressive with motorcyclist. There have been reports of unmarked Dodge Chargers actually making contact with the rear of motorcyclist to knock them down.
This is under the premise that traffic splitting is the same as evading the police, ergo the justification…
