Profile Information

About Me:
I am a graduate student at the University of Pittsburgh going for my Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics.

Interests: riding/working on the bikes, yoga, rock climbing, camping, caving, mountain biking, drawing, reading, watching movies, spending time with my husband and our Australian Cattle Dog Boomer
Website:
http://www.squidbusters.com
Favorite Music:
mostly alternative, ska, metal...pretty much anything but country and rap. A few favorite bands are Incubus, Better than Ezra, Maroon 5, Pat McGee Band, Snow Patrol, 30 Seconds to Mars, Eve6, Jars of Clay, Emily's Toybox, lots more
Favorite Bikes:
My Ducati, of course!!
I also love my YSR50.

I'd also like an adventure bike some day. I recently watched Long Way 'Round and that looked like great fun. I like the Wee Stroms, but it is just too tall for me.
Favortie Places To Ride:
West Virginia, So. Ohio, and local twisties in PA. Maybe someday I will ride down in Seneca Rocks instead of just climbing there.

More About Me

I started riding in June of 2005.

My boyfriend (now my husband as of May 27, 2006) bought me a "junker" 1981 CB400T off of ebay for $300 and we restored it together over the next several months.

I took the MSF and one week later I was somehow coerced onto the race track for YSR50 racing. My husband and I are now very active in the OYL (Ohio YSR League) and I was voted the "Most Improved Rider" for the 2005 season. I race a stock YSR50 and I won the Stock Modified championship the 2007 season! My husband built a YSR with a XR100 motor "Franken-bike" overbored to 115 for the 2007 season.

After a season riding the CB on the street, I sold it and got the Monster locally for a killer deal. :)

I have a 2002 M750S (Senna) I bought in June 2006. Poor thing only had 2100 miles on it. I doubled that in the first month I owned her. Ive named her Meraviglioso...Mera for short. (Italian for gorgeous.)
